A 75ª edição do Emmy aconteceu na noite desta segunda-feira (15) em Los Angeles. A premiação aconteceu depois de um adiamento de quatro meses devido a greve dos atores e roteiristas.
Entre as produções vencedoras, as séries Succession (HBO), Treta (Netflix) e The Bear (Hulu) se destacaram por varrer as nomeações em suas categorias: drama, formato limitado e comédia, respectivamente. Succession teve, ao todo, 27 indicações e levou seis; já Treta levou cinco das sete indicações que recebeu. The Bear foi também foi destaque e levou dez estatuetas, maior número de vitórias da noite.
O acontecimento histórico da noite ficou por conta da atriz e escritora Quinta Brunson e sua vitória na categoria de atriz em uma série de comédia por seu papel em Abbot Elementary, que também é escrita por ela. Brunson revelou que não havia preparado nada para discursas no palco porque não esperava vencer a categoria.
